Get Involved There are so many ways to enrich your life and the lives of others at Transfiguration.
Enriching lives of the Month
The Community Thrift Shop provides so many different ways for people to enrich their own lives as well as the lives of others. Here are just a few... Displays - Have you ever seen displays in stores and thought you would enjoy doing that, or could do better? Thats what brought one person to the Thrift Shop. Reaching out to help others in both local and international communities has brought others. Organizing - One person found that organizing at the Thrift Shop helped them begin a long time goal of organzing their own home.
Volunteers of the MonthThe Thrift Shop cannot operate without volunteers Please consider adding your name to the volunteer roster. Contact Ruby Brackett

Does organizing people power to createa more just county interest you?
Welcome to AIM!
Action In Montgomery (AIM) is a non-partisan alliance of 30 congregations and neighborhood organizations in Montgomery County representing over 30,000 adults. AIM’s primary goal is to develop local leadership to organize the people power to create a more just county. They strive to hold both public and private power holders responsible for their public responsibilities, as well as initiate actions of our own to solve community and economic problems. AIM began in 1998 when clergy and lay leaders came together to discuss how to address the growing pressures on families in their congregations. Learn more | Contact: Karlyn Walker
